What to do if aloe leaves become soft

What to do if aloe leaves become soft

Too much light

When growing aloe vera, it needs to be given sufficient light, but if the light is too strong, its leaves will become soft.

In fact, when growing aloe vera, the light in spring and autumn is more adaptable, while the light in winter is relatively less, so the main thing to worry about is the summer. In summer, the sunlight is strong and the sunshine time is long. If the aloe vera leaves are accidentally exposed to the sun, they may become soft.

In the summer, you must pay attention to shading to meet aloe vera's need for light, but it is still necessary to provide shade in time, especially in the afternoon when the light is strong.

Overwatering

When growing aloe vera, excessive watering is also one of the reasons why its leaves become soft.

Aloe vera is relatively drought-tolerant and does not require very much water. When growing aloe vera, be sure not to water it too much or too frequently. Otherwise, water will accumulate in the pot, causing root rot, etc., which will affect the growth of aloe vera.

When growing aloe vera, watering must be strictly controlled to ensure that there is no water accumulation in the pot. The soil should have good drainage and the air humidity should be maintained at a high level. In rainy season, drainage needs to be done promptly.

Caused by freezing

When growing aloe vera, temperature is also very important. The temperature is relatively low in winter. If the plant is frozen, the leaves will become soft.

Therefore, it is necessary to maintain a high temperature in winter to ensure its safe wintering.
