Why doesn't hyacinth grow roots?

Why doesn't hyacinth grow roots?

1. Reasons

1. Poor quality

Many flower lovers accidentally pick inferior products when buying bulbs. This is because the quality of the bulbs is not up to standard and the nutrients they contain are insufficient, so it is difficult for the bulbs to take root.

2. Suffering damage

Some flower lovers are careless when moving the bulbs, causing them to suffer a certain degree of damage, which may cause the nutrients they contain to be lost, making it impossible for the bulbs to take root.

3. Peel old skin frequently

Some flower lovers do not like the old skin on the outside of the bulb, thinking that it affects the appearance, so they keep peeling off the old skin, but they do not know that the old skin also contains a lot of nutrients. If the old bark is peeled off frequently, it will lack nutrients and will not be able to take root.

4. Wrong season

Hyacinth will enter a dormant period around June, during which time it will differentiate flower buds. Even if it is placed in a culture bottle for culture at this time, it will not take root.

5. Temperature is too low

When the temperature is too low, its physiological activities will be inhibited and it will not be able to take root.

6. Too much light

It may also develop an underdeveloped root system or no roots when there is too much light.

II. Measures

1. If due to quality or other reasons, the nutrients inside the bulb are lost to the point where they cannot support the bottom of the bulb for rooting, the editor recommends that you give up on the bulb and buy a new one!

2. If it is because the season is not right, the editor recommends that you do not disturb its dormancy and wait until the right season to plant it out.

3. If it is a problem with temperature or light, the editor recommends that you increase the temperature, provide appropriate shade, and then grow the plant for another week.
