What should I do if the leaves of Clivia grow crooked?

What should I do if the leaves of Clivia grow crooked?

1. Adjust the position of the flower pot

If you want it to grow well and the leaves do not grow crooked, you need to ensure that all the leaves can receive the same light. But we understand that it is impossible for every part of the leaves to be illuminated, so we have to adjust it manually so that all the leaves can receive even light. Basically, we need to adjust it once a week, so that the shape of the plant will be maintained better and it will not grow crooked.

2. Tin foil shading

If one side of the leaf is more prominent, you can cover it with tin foil. The tin foil needs to be light-proof. Fold it to half the width of the leaf, and then secure it with a hairpin or paper clip.

3. Fix the paper rack

This is a relatively simple method. First, cut off the sides of the unused box, then cut a long hole on the paper, and then put the leaves in it. If you are worried about damaging the leaves, you can improve it by hanging up both sides of the paper with ropes so that the sub-leaves will not be damaged.

4. Foam cushion

Cut several small squares out of the foam pad and put one in the middle. You can then add some shading to it and its leaves will become straight, but it will take some time.

5. Cardboard

If viewed from the front, some of the plants have larger distances between leaves, while others have smaller distances between leaves. We can use a thick cardboard to make a sleeve, and then cut a groove to hold the leaves according to the number of leaves. After processing, it would be great if the plants could form a line when viewed from the side.
