Fertilization method of ash wood

Fertilization method of ash wood

1. Before putting on the basin

Before potting, ensure the base fertilizer is well applied to provide a solid foundation for the plant's growth. In addition to nutritious soils such as peat soil and garden soil, bone meal also needs to be added. In addition to bone meal, wood ash can also be used. It is very important to ensure the growth of ash wood.

2. Growth period

It prefers sufficient nutrition and grows faster, so its demand for this is very high. During the growth period, nutrition should be applied approximately every 2-3 weeks. Choose a relatively mild fertilizer, such as decomposed organic fertilizer or nutritionally balanced compound fertilizer, to meet good growth needs. Even if you like nutrients very much, you must pay attention to the concentration. It must not be too concentrated, otherwise there will be problems with growth and the roots will be burned, which will not have a good effect. If you accidentally add too much, you need to water it in time to dilute it.

3. Dormancy

During the dormant period, growth basically stagnates and there is not much demand for water and nutrients, so you can stop applying nutrients. Unauthorized fertilization at this time will also cause a burden on the roots. By the spring of next year, the growth of the plant will slowly recover, and you can gradually start fertilizing.
