What to do if the leaves of Christmas cactus are shriveled

What to do if the leaves of Christmas cactus are shriveled

(1) Specific reasons: Insect pests are one of the important reasons why its leaves become shriveled, and most insects can threaten its leaves. First check whether there are any bugs on the front and back of the leaves. If there are, it is basically a pest problem.

(2) Solution: Get rid of the bugs first. If the number is small, you can scrape them off with a tool such as a bamboo stick, or wipe them off with a damp cloth. If the number is large, medication is needed. After that, pay attention to pruning and cut off the too dense and aging branches, preferably on a sunny day. Furthermore, attention should be paid to ventilation.

2. Place in a cool place

(1) Specific reason: When the light is too strong and shines on the leaves, the water in the leaves will evaporate too quickly, and the leaves will appear dry and shriveled over time.

(2) Solution: Move it to a semi-shaded area first. Then, you need to add some moisture to it and water it appropriately.

3. Scientific water supply

(1) Specific reason: If too much water is given during maintenance, its roots will be waterlogged and the leaves will easily dry out. If you water too little and the water supply is insufficient, the leaves will also shrivel.

(2) Solution: Whether it is too much or too little, the solution is to adjust the watering method. Provide sufficient water, but not too much, and certainly not water accumulation.
