How to clean containers and plants for hydroponic plants

1. Root removal and root washing

Take out the plant and use small scissors to remove the aging roots in the plant's root system. Remove rotten roots and rinse off dirt stuck to the roots with tap water.

2. Disinfection

Add an appropriate amount of glass cleaner or detergent to the container, and also clean the container with 1% potassium permanganate solution. Disinfect and rinse thoroughly.

3. Wash the container

Clean the inside and outside of the container with a brush or rag, then rinse with clean water.

4. Change the water

Replace the container with fresh water or culture solution and place the plant back into the container.
