Can soybeans be planted in the soil?

Soybeans can be planted in the soil. Soybeans like warmth and require more water for seed germination. When planting soybeans, choose the right seeds, then sow the beans in the soil and wait for them to sprout. During the flowering period, the soil moisture content needs to be maintained at 70%-80%, otherwise the rate of flower bud shedding will increase.

Soybeans have a strong adaptability to soil and can grow in almost all soils, but the best soil pH is 6 to 7.5. If the soil pH is lower than 6.0, the acidic soil is often deficient in molybdenum, which is not conducive to the reproduction and development of rhizobia.

Soybean soil cultivation method

1. Sowing and seedling raising

Before sowing, wet the seedbed, sow the seeds, cover them with soil, and wait for them to germinate. When the bean sprouts grow to four or five centimeters, they can be transplanted.

2. Planting management

After planting, you need to water the field roughly once, try to water every plant, and then thin out or supplement the seedlings in the field after a week to ensure that the seedlings are even and complete the planting.

3. Field management

The soybeans need to be tilled, weeded and fertilized, and watered at the same time. This fertilization usually uses a mixture of fertilizer and urea.

4. Disease prevention

The period when soybeans are most likely to develop diseases is when they are flowering and forming pods, so in order not to reduce the yield, we will take protective measures to protect the flowers and pods of soybeans, generally using dimethoate emulsion for spraying.

5. Land preparation, fertilization and watering

Try to plow deeply. Soybeans do not need a lot of nutrients, and it is best not to apply nitrogen fertilizer, so when preparing the land, just sprinkle an appropriate amount of farmyard manure as base fertilizer, and also pay attention to watering.
