Six essentials of flower arrangement

(1) Heights and depths are staggered. The positions of the flower branches should be staggered in front and back, height and should never be on the same straight line or plane.

(2) Well-balanced density. The branches or leaves should not be arranged at equal distances, but should be sparse and dense.

(3) Combination of the virtual and the real. Flowers are real and leaves are virtual. There are flowers and leaves, with flowers as the main body and leaves as the foil. You can also use small flowers such as baby's breath to give the entire composition a hazy feeling.

(4) Echoing each other. The flower branches above, below, left and right should echo each other around the main flower branch to maintain integrity and balance.

(5) Light on top and heavy on the bottom. When the flower branches are combined, the buds are on top and the full-bloomed flowers are on the bottom; the light-colored flowers are on top and the dark-colored flowers are on the bottom; the small, graceful flowers are on top and the large, spherical flowers are on the bottom. Make the composition balanced and natural.

(6) Dispersed above and gathered below. When combining multiple flower branches, the flowers on the upper part can be scattered, while the flowers on the lower part should be gathered together.
