Four Seasons PrimroseThe four-season primrose is native to southwestern my country. The flower stems emerge from the leaves, and are covered with umbels that are arranged in clusters. They have funnel-shaped calyxes and come in white, red, dark red, pink, light purple, and blue-purple colors. The flowering period is from January to May. Tibetan PrimrosePrimrose, also known as big primrose, is native to the western region of my country. The corolla is high-footed and saucer-shaped, and comes in colors such as deep red, pink, light blue and white. In some varieties, the petal ends are split into irregular fine teeth, which makes them more beautiful. PrimroseThe small sakura is native to Yunnan. The flowers are lavender or pink and have a fragrance. It has up to 7 layers of inflorescence, so it is also called seven-layer cherry blossom. The pedicels, bracts and sepals are all covered with white powder. PrimulaPrimrose is the most sold type of primrose in Chinese flower shops. It was first introduced from my country by the British in the 19th century. It was a heart-shaped variety artificially bred from Primrose vulgaris and many other primroses. Because this type of primrose has large flowers and bright colors, it is loved by many flower lovers. |
