How to grow green cloud grass

Farming methods

soil

The soil for growing green clover should preferably have good permeability and looseness, and be rich in humus. In short, the closer the soil characteristics are to the soil in natural shady and humid areas, the more conducive it is to its growth. If you want to mix the soil yourself, you can mix it with equal amounts of leaf mold, loam, and plain sand.

Water and fertilizer management

Watering: Green cloud grass needs a lot of water and high humidity during the growth period, so choose to water it by spraying water. You can also sprinkle water on the ground at the same time to increase the humidity of the soil.

Fertilization: During the growing season, apply liquid fertilizer once a month. When it is not in the growing season, as long as the soil is suitable, fertile humus soil can provide the nutrients needed for normal growth.

Light temperature

Light: Green cloud grass likes semi-shady environment. It needs to be shaded in summer and not exposed to excessive light.

Temperature: The most suitable growth temperature is between 21 and 26 degrees Celsius during the day and between 10 and 15 degrees Celsius at night. Therefore, it needs to be properly handled and protected in summer and winter. The lowest wintering temperature is 5 degrees Celsius. If it is lower than this temperature, certain measures must be taken to keep it warm.

Reproduction method

Green cloud grass can be propagated by division and cuttings.

Precautions

Avoid direct sunlight

Green cloud grass likes a semi-shady environment. Long-term exposure to strong light will not only burn the leaves, but may even cause the plant to dry up and die due to lack of water. Shade is a must in summer, no matter whether you are in the south or the north. Summers are very hot and the sunlight is very strong.

Common diseases

A common disease of green grass is leaf spot. 50% carbendazim diluted 1000 times can be used for spraying.
