The difference between Wenxin grass and clover

The difference between Wenxin grass and clover

Morphological distinction

Clover is a plant with taproots. At the roots, it can achieve symbiosis with rhizobia and has strong regeneration ability. Clover has many branches and can grow along tree branches or a large open space, constantly sprouting new buds. It has three small leaves, and the shape of the leaves is also very romantic. If you look closely, it looks like an inverted heart. The plant blooms in summer and autumn. It also produces seeds while flowering.

Look at the clover again. It is different from the clover. If you look closely at its petals, they look like water droplets dotted on them. One of its flowers has 5 petals. Although not very eye-catching, the opening of large areas still gives people a shocking feeling.

Habitual distinction

Not only are there differences in their morphology, but their living habits are also different.

Clover can tolerate cold environments and is not picky about soil, so it can be seen in many places. Likes warm and sunny places. However, if the environment is too dry, its growth rate will be slowed down, and it will die at high temperatures. It is strong and can resist pollution from harmful gases.

Wenxin grass prefers a humid and hot environment and grows very fast in spring. Unlike clover, it has higher requirements for soil and must be grown in land with high fertility.

Although clover and shamrock can be easily confused if you don't look carefully, it is easy to distinguish them with the above knowledge.

Since clover does not have high requirements for the land, it can be seen in large patches everywhere on the roadside. Wenxin grass is relatively rare, and seeing it symbolizes good luck!
