Cultivation methods and precautions of Wannian hemp

Cultivation methods and precautions of Wannian hemp

1. Lighting

It generally prefers sunny places, so we can put it in a place with more sunlight, and good light can make the plant develop better. It is best to expose it to sunlight all day long at normal times, so that it can get better sunlight. If you place it in a place without enough sunlight for a long time, the plant will not grow very well, and its shape may be seriously affected. In winter when the light is weak, you can put it in a sunny place.

2. Soil

Generally, it prefers soil with better drainage and looseness, so we usually choose some sandy loam, so that it can drain better, but at the same time, when choosing the soil, it should also be more breathable. If it is not stained, its roots will not be able to breathe, resulting in not very good growth. Therefore, we must pay attention to it. It is important to choose soil with good air permeability and drainage.

3. Watering

Watering is also very important to it, so we should also pay attention when watering it. Generally, when the light is not very good, don’t water it too much. Because it is relatively drought-resistant, it only needs to be watered appropriately at ordinary times. Especially in winter, you must reduce watering. Just keep the leaves from withering, so it does not need too much water.

4. Fertilization

Before planting it, we usually choose some basic fertilizer and put it in the pot to ensure its better growth. Then when it is in its growing period, it also needs to be topdressed. Generally, it is enough to apply it once a month or two months, and organic fertilizer is mainly used. At other times, you can reduce the amount of fertilizer and it can still grow well, so you can't apply too much fertilizer just to make it grow faster, otherwise it will have the opposite effect.
