How to grow Hierro pink mountain rose

How to grow Hierro pink mountain rose

1. Temperature

Although the temperature is high in summer, it can safely survive the summer as long as there is good air circulation and no exposure to the sun, but it will stop developing and enter a dormant state; when the temperature is 0 degrees in winter, it will not be frozen to death, but it will stop growing. It is best to move it indoors in winter. The temperature should not be lower than 5 degrees, and there should be a temperature difference of about 10 degrees between day and night.

2. Sunlight

Except for summer, it should be given plenty of sunlight at other times.

3. Moisture

This plant prefers a relatively dry and cool environment and has a certain degree of drought resistance. On the contrary, it is very afraid of excessive humidity or waterlogging. So you can water the plant once a month for daily watering. In summer, you should reduce watering, as too much water and a hot and humid environment can easily cause the roots to rot. When the temperature is too low in winter, watering should also be controlled. But these two seasons don't mean you shouldn't water it at all. Watering can be suspended in rainy weather. When watering, do not allow the leaves to get water stains.

4. Ventilation

Ventilation is very important for the growth of this plant. It is best to place it next to an open window all day. If the air circulation is poor in summer, you can hang a small fan. Good ventilation is not only beneficial to plant growth, but also can reduce the occurrence of many diseases and pests.

5. Repotting

Many plants are repotted in spring, but the best time to repot this plant is in autumn. The replacement soil must be well-drained, loose and nutrient-rich.
