FruitThe Terminalia tamarindus drupe is oblong, yellowish-brown in color, about 5 cm long, and similar in appearance to an olive. 4. AppearanceThe bark of the Terminalia tamarind is gray-brown and relatively smooth at first, but will gradually develop longitudinal cracks as the tree ages, at which time the bark can easily peel off in thin flakes.
