The difference between Silver Princess Waxwood and Golden Edge Boxwood

1. Difference of blades

The leaves of the silver wax tree are opposite, thick papery or thin leathery, oval or ovate, with a milky white marginal ring on the edge. The golden-edged boxwood is leathery, obovate or elliptical, with yellow or white edges, yellow-green in the middle with yellow stripes, new leaves are yellow, and old leaves are green with white edges.

2. The difference between flowers

The panicles of the Silver Princess wax flower are terminal or axillary, the flowers are white, and the flowering period is from April to June each year. The golden-edged boxwood has a cyme inflorescence, the flowers are white-green in color, and the petals are nearly oval. The flowering period is later than the former and the time is also shorter, from June to July.
