What is the difference between windproof and nepeta?

1. Leaf Difference

The leaves of Saposhnikovia have flat and long petioles with broad leaf sheaths. The leaves are ovate or oblong, 14 to 35 cm long, 6 to 8 cm wide, and pinnately divided twice or nearly three times.

The leaves of Nepeta are ovate or triangular-cordate, about 2.5 to 7 cm long and about 2.1 to 4.7 cm wide, with a sharp tip, a cordate or truncated base, coarsely serrated edges, and a herbaceous texture.

2. Flower Differences

There are many compound umbels of Saposhnikovia divaricata, with the peduncle at the top being 2 to 5 cm long and the umbel being 3 to 5 cm long. There are 4 to 10 small flowers in the umbel, and the petals are obovate and white.

The inflorescence of Nepeta is cymose, or composed of dense terminal branched panicles, with leaf-like bracts, which are awl-shaped and small. The corolla is white, with purple spots on the lower lip and covered with short white hairs.
