Cultivation methods and precautions of soil-cultured lucky bamboo

Cultivation methods and precautions of soil-cultured lucky bamboo

1. Flower soil

It is best to use sandy soil when growing lucky bamboo, because this type of soil has better air permeability and is less likely to cause the plant to have root deflation problems. In addition, it is best to use soil with a relatively high nutrient content, because this type of soil has relatively high fertility and can provide the plants with a lot of nutrients needed for growth. Specifically, it is recommended to mix leaf mold and fine garden soil in equal proportions as its flower soil.

2. Water

It likes moisture and cannot lack water during the growing period. Therefore, you should water it in time so that there is enough water in its soil, but don't water it too much. In addition, when the weather is dry, you need to spray some water mist around it to increase the humidity. This will allow it to grow more comfortably.

3. Sunlight

You don't need too much sunlight to grow it. Just place it in a place with scattered light. When there is strong light in the summer, use a shade net to block out the light.

4. Fertilization

During the growing season, it requires more nutrients for growth. Therefore, you need to fertilize it once every 20 days to ensure sufficient nutrients.

5. Notes

It likes slightly acidic flower soil. If the pH of the flower soil is high, you can add a few drops of salt-free vinegar to the water you want to use to water it to lower its pH value.
