Management methods of girl fruit

1. Temperature control

According to the growth habits of the mushroom plant, it is recommended to seal and keep warm before germination to promote the rapid emergence of the seedlings. After the seedlings emerge from the soil, the most suitable temperature is 20-28℃ during the day and 14-17℃ at night.

2. Weed control and control

Combine thinning with inter-row cultivation and weeding. Generally, thinning is done twice. The first thinning is done when the true leaves are exposed, leaving 2-3 strong seedlings; the second thinning is done when there are 2-3 true leaves, leaving 1 strong seedling. In addition, during the growth period, spray dwarfing agent twice to prevent excessive growth.

3. Reasonable watering

The wolfberry needs sufficient water during its growth period, but it should not be overwatered. Adjust the frequency and amount of watering according to climatic conditions and soil moisture, keeping the soil moist but not waterlogged.

4. Topdressing points

Goji berry is a crop that likes potassium fertilizer. We can apply 20 kg of potassium sulfate per mu during the flowering and fruiting period of the plant, and spray 0.5% potassium dihydrogen phosphate once every 10 days for 3 consecutive times.

5. Pruning tips

For overcrowded clusters, adopt the approach of thinning out weak branches, cutting back perennial branches, and removing excess basal branches.

6. Pest and disease control

Check the plants regularly to detect and treat pests and diseases in a timely manner. For diseases that have already occurred, diseased mushrooms and diseased residues should be removed in time to reduce the spread of pathogens. When necessary, appropriate pesticides can be used for prevention and control. For example, for white leaf blight and brown spot disease, you can spray pesticides containing flusilazole, prochloraz or carbendazim.

In general, wolfberry has good commercial quality, high nutritional value, and certain medicinal value. Its many valuable uses make it a "fruit of wealth" for many farmers. But in order to obtain good returns, scientific planting management is very important.
