1. Is it cold-resistant?

Gardenia is not a cold-resistant plant and has a relatively low cold tolerance. This is the case for most varieties, but the large-leaf gardenia is more cold-resistant than average and can withstand temperatures as low as minus 2 degrees Celsius. 2. How to protect against cold

1. Move indoors: For the north, the temperature outside is generally below zero in winter, so it is difficult for the plants to survive. Therefore, they need to be moved indoors for maintenance. Because there are heating equipment indoors, there is no problem in maintaining the temperature required by the plants, and it can avoid the invasion of cold winds.

2. Put on a bag: For the south, you don’t have to move the plant indoors and can continue to keep it outdoors. If the temperature is too low for a period of time, put a plastic bag on the outside and put it in a sheltered place. Take down the plastic bag at noon to allow it to breathe.
