How to grow Begonia on the balcony, what should you pay attention to

1. Light exposure

In order to ensure the growth and flowering of Begonia, sufficient sunlight is necessary. It needs to be exposed to sunlight during the growing process. It can be placed on the balcony for maintenance. Normally, it is exposed to scattered light, which is very helpful for flowering. In winter, the intensity of sunlight decreases, and it can accept full sunlight. The light in summer is too strong, so the plants cannot be maintained in the normal way. They need to be shaded and you can block it with objects.

2. Moisture Application

Under normal circumstances, water the plant every 3-5 days to ensure that the growth needs are maintained. The evaporation in summer is relatively vigorous, so more water needs to be applied. You can water the plant once a day. Water only enough to meet demand, but do not give too much water or allow water to accumulate.

3. Apply fertilizer

Pay attention to fertilization during the growing period. When it is growing vigorously, fertilize once every half a month. The requirements for fertilizers are different in different periods. Nitrogen fertilizer can be used in the seedling stage, and phosphorus and potassium fertilizers can be added before and after the flowering period.

4. Temperature requirements

The suitable temperature for growth is around 15-25 degrees, and it is suitable for growth within this growth range. It is afraid of the cold, so you should pay attention to keeping it warm in winter and keep the temperature not below 15 degrees.
