2. Different leaves

The leaves of Prunus armeniaca are about 2-6 cm long and 1.5-3 cm wide. The edges of the leaves are also serrated, but they are relatively thick.

3. Different flowers

The plum blossom blooms first and then grows leaves, so usually you can only see flowers on the tree. The flowering period is around February and March.

The leaves of the elmleaf plum will grow after the flowers bloom for a period of time. You can see both flowers and leaves on the tree. The flowering period is around April and May.
