How to grow banana trees

How to grow banana trees

1. Soil

Cultivating banana trees requires soil with high nutrient content. You can spread a layer of organic fertilizer at the bottom of the planting soil to fertilize the soil. Insufficient soil fertility will cause it to stop growing.

2. Temperature

It likes a warm living environment, and the optimal growth temperature is around 20~25℃. But it is not cold-resistant and needs to be kept indoors over the winter in northern cities.

3. Watering

Watering should be appropriate and reasonable. You can water a certain amount of water every day to keep the soil in the pot moist. You can water thoroughly but don't water blindly. Water only when the surface of the soil in the pot starts to dry. Do not allow a large amount of water to accumulate in the pot, as this will easily cause the roots to rot.

4. Lighting

It is necessary to ensure that it can receive sufficient sunlight. If you grow it at home, you should place it in a place with sufficient sunshine, such as a balcony. It is best to place it outdoors to receive more sunlight.

5. Notes

1. Fertilization: Reasonable fertilization can make it grow faster and have stronger resistance. Make sure to fertilize once a month, and it is best to use well-rotted organic fertilizer.

2. Ripening: When bananas appear, necessary ripening must be carried out. Especially in northern cities, it is even more necessary to ripen bananas to ensure the smooth growth of bananas and avoid failing to achieve the desired breeding results.
