Potted seedlings1. Generally, flower pots should have an inner diameter of 24 to 30 cm or larger. Of course, you can also choose a smaller flowerpot for small seedlings , with a diameter of more than 10 cm. 2. If the soil is particularly dry, water it first and make it moist before planting. The soil around the roots should be finely ground. It is best to make it fine before planting. 3. Find a stone or other object to place under the small hole in the flowerpot to prevent soil from blocking water from flowing out. Also, be sure to use a flower pot with holes. Without holes, the plants will be soaked and killed. 4. Add appropriate amount of soil into the flowerpot. If there is a pot on the seedling, remove the small pot and try not to loosen the soil in the pot. Then place the seedling upright in the middle of the flowerpot , with the tip of the heel touching the soil surface , hold the seedling in one hand and add soil with the other. While adding soil , gently lift the seedlings to stretch the roots as much as possible. Cover all the roots so that they cannot be seen , but do not plant them too deep, otherwise it will be detrimental to the survival of the seedlings. Yard seedlings1. Make a pile of soil , generally more than 30 cm high , dig a hole in the pile , and plant the seedlings in it just like planting seedlings in a pot. You can also add organic fertilizer underneath. 2. Just like potted seedlings, they cannot be planted too deep, otherwise it will be detrimental to the survival of the seedlings. Water after planting and find some leaves or something like that to shade the seedlings to avoid being exposed to too much sunlight. But you cannot cover it with a plastic bag. After the seedlings have grown , the shade can be removed. After new branches and leaves grow, you need to add soil to the seedlings . Depending on the size of the seedlings, add 2 to 4 cm of soil. |
