Why can't tiger thorns be kept alive?

Why can't tiger thorns be kept alive?

Improper watering of tiger thorn

Although tiger thorn likes a relatively humid environment, it cannot be watered too much. Excessive watering will cause waterlogging in the soil, resulting in root rot. It is not allowed to place tiger thorns outdoors in rainy weather. Tiger thorns must not be exposed to rain, as they are easily attacked by germs after being exposed to rain.

The growth temperature of tiger thorn is not suitable

The growth temperature of tiger thorn should not be too high or too low. It is best to keep it between 22℃ during the day and 15-20℃ at night. If the temperature is too high, the moisture of the tiger thorn will evaporate quickly, eventually causing the entire plant to dry up and die. If the temperature is too low, the tiger thorn will enter a semi-dormant state and its growth will stagnate.

The light conditions of tiger thorn are not good or too strong

Tiger thorn likes scattered light and cannot be exposed to the sun in summer, otherwise it will be burned. The plant will not be able to recover in a short period of time and will eventually wither. If the plant is kept indoors for a long time in the winter and the lighting is poor, it will be too dark and will not receive scattered light, which cannot meet its growth needs.

Too much fertilization of tiger thorn

Tiger thorn does not require much fertilizer during its growth process because it grows slowly. In addition to normal fertilization during the growth period, it is best to apply less fertilizer at other times. If there is excess nutrients, the tiger thorn will not survive.

Tiger thorn affected by pests and diseases

Pests and diseases are also one of the important reasons why tiger thorns cannot be raised. During the breeding process, special attention should be paid to the prevention of pests and diseases, and regular prevention work should be carried out on tiger thorns.
