How to remove bamboo cypress from the pot

Place the plant that needs to be repotted on the ground first, and gently pat the four sides of the pot with your palms to gradually separate the roots from the pot wall. Then turn the flower pot upside down on your left hand, and gently hold the bamboo cypress plant with your index finger and middle finger. After supporting the edge of the pot with your wrist and fingertips, pat the bottom of the pot with your right hand, and use your thumb to push the root soil down from the bottom hole to make the plant come out. After the plant has grown out, gently pat the soil in the pot with both hands to remove excess soil.

How to repot bamboo cypress

When the bamboo cypress plant grows larger, it needs to be repotted to promote its continued vigorous growth. The culture soil for repotting should be a mixture of garden soil and slag in a ratio of 3:1, or you can use rice soil, leaf mold, or pond mud.

How to pot bamboo cypress

When potting, first put a 2-3 cm thick coarse-grained substrate at the bottom of the pot as a water filter layer, then sprinkle a layer of fully decomposed organic fertilizer on it as base fertilizer, about 1-2 cm thick, then cover with a thin layer of substrate, 1-2 cm thick, and finally put the bamboo cypress plant in. This is to separate the fertilizer from the root system to avoid direct contact and cause root burn.
