How to trim threaded iron

How to trim threaded iron

Does it need pruning?

In fact, thread iron generally does not need to be pruned to grow well. However, during the breeding process, there are several situations in which the threaded iron still needs to be properly trimmed.

The first one is that before the thread iron is planted, in order to make the thread iron survive better, it can be properly trimmed and pruned.

The second is that during the growth period of the thread iron, some yellow leaves, rotten leaves may appear, and these need to be cut off.

The third type is when the plant of the whorl iron is very tall, affecting its appearance and even its growth, it needs to be pruned.

Pruning methods

When pruning thread iron, you are actually cutting off the branches and part of the roots. Before planting, the roots of the thread iron can be properly trimmed, and the rotten and broken ones can be cut off. The branches and leaves also need to be pruned properly. You can cut them off by one third or one half. This will weaken the transpiration of the plant and make it easier to survive.

Secondly, when pruning the thread iron, you need to maintain its basic tree shape, so that it will be easier to shape it in the future. If you prune too hard, the plant shape may not be beautiful.
