Fruit propagation method of cinnabar root

First, we need to harvest the fruits of cinnabar root and choose the red ones to ensure the germination rate. After picking the fruits, process them, remove the pulp and sow them. If the fruit has been stored, then when sowing, soak it in 25℃-30℃ water for about 24 hours before sowing.

When sowing, choose loose and breathable soil as the medium and maintain good drainage. Sow the processed seeds on the soil, then cover it with soil (not too thick), and water it. After sowing, you can place it under scattered light and pay attention to watering to keep it moist. Seedlings will soon grow. After about 40 days, when the seedlings grow 3-5 true leaves, they can be transplanted.

When transplanting, it is better to transplant with soil, which makes it easier for the plants to survive. When transplanting, choose a small flowerpot, about 10 cm, so it is easier to water.

Precautions for sowing cinnabar root fruit

When using fruits to sow cinnabar root, we need to pay attention to many key points.

If we cannot sow the fruits immediately after harvesting them, we need to take out the seeds and store them. Dry the fruit, remove the seed coat, take out the seeds, put them in a plastic bag, place them in a cool and ventilated place, and sow them in the spring of the following year. Or you can bury the seeds in the sand, place them in a dark or dimly lit place, keep them cool and dry, and store them. Take it out the next year and sow it.
