What to do if the stems of lucky bamboo are wrinkled

What to do if the stems of lucky bamboo are wrinkled

1. Increase the temperature

Reason: Low temperature causes lucky bamboo to freeze, causing its stems to become wrinkled.

Solution: Move the lucky bamboo to a warm place indoors in time. But be careful to keep it away from heating or air conditioning, as high temperatures can also harm the growth of the plants. If the indoor temperature is not high enough, you can cover the top of the plant with a plastic bag to keep it warm.

2. Add water and change water

Reason: Lack of water or poor water quality will be detrimental to the growth of lucky bamboo and cause the stems to become wrinkled.

Solution: Before the lucky bamboo takes root, change the water every 4-5 days to ensure the water is fresh. After it has taken root, add water regularly every week. Generally, you need to choose purified water, and tap water should be dried in the sun for two days, and then poured in after the chlorine has evaporated and the water temperature is suitable.

3. Proper shade

Reason: Lucky bamboo should not be exposed to light for a long time, especially direct sunlight, otherwise its stems will become wrinkled.

Solution: Shade the plant or place it in a place with scattered light. But in winter the sunlight is soft, so it is also beneficial to expose it to proper lighting.

4. Add nutrient solution

Cause: Lack of nutrients causes the lucky bamboo to develop poorly, causing the stems to become wrinkled.

Solution: For hydroponics, you need to add nutrient solution regularly. You can mix aspirin with water, stir it thoroughly and then add about 3-5 drops.
