How to water calamus

How to water calamus

What kind of water should be poured

I believe that many friends who do not have much experience in growing flowers will be confused. What kind of water should be used? Of course it is ordinary water. Do you need to go to the river to fetch water for watering the flowers? However, the plant calamus cannot be watered casually. Water is an indispensable thing for it, so soft water is generally most conducive to its growth. Another option is acidic water and neutral water. Soft water can be converted by drying tap water in the sun, but most mineral waters are weakly alkaline, so everyone should know that mineral water cannot be used to water calamus at will. Finally, one more point is that no matter it is weakly alkaline or soft water, it must not be contaminated, because calamus is a plant that is a little bit obsessed with mysophobia.

How to water

method

Acorus is a plant with very dense and short leaves. When watering, you must be careful not to get water on the leaves. Methods such as watering with a spray bottle should also be avoided, otherwise the leaves will easily rot and breed bacteria, especially in the hot summer season. It is recommended that you hold up the edge of the flower pot with your hands when watering, and water in circles along the wall of the flower pot. The water should be poured evenly and thoroughly.

cycle

Since calamus is a plant that likes moisture, its watering cycle is naturally higher than that of ordinary flowers. Generally speaking, you need to water the plant once a day. If you buy a flower pot with drainage holes at the bottom, soaking can cause root rot.
