How to fertilize Kapok

How to fertilize Kapok

Kapok fertilizer application method:

First fertilization: Spring is the best season for propagating kapok, so it is sown from February to March. Fertilization can be carried out 30 days after the seeds sprout, which is around April, but the concentration of fertilizer should be light.

Second fertilization: time is mid-July;

The third fertilization: time is mid-September.

The fourth fertilization: after October.

Fertilizer selection: Compound fertilizer can be used for the first three fertilizations. For the fourth fertilization, nitrogen-containing fertilizers should not be used. Potassium-containing fertilizers can be used, which can allow the plants to lignify earlier.

Top dressing: Apply phosphorus fertilizer and potassium fertilizer before and during flowering to make the flowers brighter in color, larger in shape, and increase the number of flowers.

Note:

In fact, its requirements for fertilizers are not high, so it is not necessary to apply fertilizers all the time during daily breeding.

Nitrogen fertilizer can make its branches and leaves grow lush and increase the number of flowers, but if only a single fertilizer is applied, the color of its flowers and leaves will no longer be bright, so it must be used in combination with other fertilizers.

After October, the application of nitrogen fertilizer should be stopped.

When applying fertilizer, try not to make the soil too moist, as this will not be good for its growth. Fertilization can be suspended on cloudy and rainy days.
