How to breed Lophatherum venetum

Seed propagation

This is also the most primitive method of reproduction. First of all, you have to choose good soil. Although they do not have high requirements for soil, they still prefer to grow in places with higher terrain and strong drainage. Before planting, it is best to use some base fertilizer so that they will not lack nutrients in the early stages of growth.

It is best to soak the seeds in water for a day before planting, so that they can germinate faster. During this period, you should change the water twice. Then you can spread the seeds. The surrounding environment should be kept at 15℃, and moisturizing wet grass should be placed on them. Before operation, mix some fine sand. The amount of fine sand should be ten times that of seeds. However, this method requires a longer waiting time, and it usually takes a year to transplant.

Rhizome propagation

You should choose mother plants that are more than 2 years old for breeding. These mother plants are not too young to grow well, nor too old to carry diseases, so they are more suitable. The length of each section should be 10-15cm. After digging the soil, you can plant it directly. This method works best if you water it immediately so that the soil and rhizomes can combine better. After completing this method, seedlings will emerge in about 30 days.

Propagation by division

This method should mainly be carried out after the plant has withered or before sprouting in spring. This method does not require any knives, you can just use your hands to split the mother plant into two. Pay attention to watering after transplanting. No fertilizer is needed during the dormant period. You can give a little water when the soil is very dry.

Precautions

We know that this plant can be used as medicine, but it cannot be eaten casually. It must be used after the doctor's instructions and in the manner instructed by the doctor.
