1. Soil selectionThe soil fertilizer for growing peach eggs must be sufficient so that it can absorb sufficient nutrients from the roots. Generally speaking, there are two ways to prepare the soil. One is to mix peat soil and coal slag in a ratio of 2:1 to make a mixed soil, and the other is to add perlite to peat and coal slag. The three are mixed in a ratio of 1:1:1. In this way, small particles are added to the soil to make the soil more breathable, which is beneficial for the root breathing of the peach eggs and allows them to bloom better. 2. Lighting and wateringWatering the peach egg plant is very particular, but also very easy. The principle is that once you feel the soil is starting to dry out, you should water it. Just soak the soil when watering. With the right amount of moisture nourishment, the peach egg plant will be more likely to bloom. However, if the water is too saturated, it will easily cause the leaves of the peach egg to fall off, which will be counterproductive. Also note that the number of waterings should not be significantly increased in the dry summer, and the evaporation of water in the soil should be slowed down by shading the peach eggs. As for light, the peach egg needs very sufficient light. Do not put it in a shady place. The sunlight will promote the growth of the peach egg leaves and make them fuller. However, in the summer, you should be careful to avoid exposing the peach eggs to the sun for a long time. You should place them in a place without direct sunlight and adjust the light and watering reasonably to promote the blooming of the peach eggs. 3. Prune branches and leavesIn spring, you can break off a few leaves from the side branches of the peach egg and put them in the soil, or cut off the leaves on its top and put them in the soil. These broken leaves will take root in the soil and grow into new buds after absorbing nutrients. At the same time, after the peach egg is beheaded, the cut part will easily grow new branches. This kind of beheading is conducive to the growth of new peach egg plants, and can also promote the regrowth of the original plants and produce more branches, so as to achieve the purpose of overflowing the pot. Therefore, in order for the peach egg to grow more beautiful, it is best to prune its branches and leaves every spring. |
