How to grow daisies in autumn

How to grow daisies in autumn

1. Breeding conditions

1. Soil: It prefers a nutritious and water-permeable substrate.

2. Light: It likes sunlight very much. No matter in the growing period or the flowering period, it must be given sufficient sunlight. It can be grown on the balcony or in the courtyard.

3. Watering: Water as appropriate. It is not very drought-resistant so the growing environment must maintain a certain degree of humidity, but water cannot accumulate. If water accumulates, it may cause root rot or leaf discoloration.

4. Fertilization: It is recommended to apply fertilizer every 7-10 days, and once a week during the growing season.

2. Breeding Methods

1. Cuttings: Usually carried out in spring from April to June, cut small plants from the roots of the plants, put them in a cool place to dry, then dip them in a small amount of wood ash and plant them in plain sand. They can be transplanted to the field in about 15 days.

2. Division: Usually carried out in March and April, sow it in a flowerpot, water it and place it in a shady place to keep it moist.

3. Notes

The suitable growth temperature for daisies is 18℃-22℃. They can bloom normally in an environment of 10℃-22℃. When the temperature is below 10℃, the growth rate of the plant will drop significantly. If the temperature is above 25℃, the plant will grow deformed.
