1. Hydroponics

Variegated vinca can be grown in water. Although plants grown in hydroponics may not be as strong as those grown in soil, they are more beautiful than those grown in soil and more suitable for home decoration.

2. Hydroponic Method

From a healthy plant, choose a branch with aerial roots, cut it off, place it in a ventilated place, and let the cut dry. Then prepare a transparent container, add a small amount of water to it, and place the branches in it. Be careful not to make the water too deep, and allow a certain amount of roots of the branches to be exposed above the water surface.

Then place it in a place without strong light, and change the water every 1-2 days to keep the water clean and free of impurities. After about 10 days, you can reduce water changes and start normal maintenance.

3. Maintenance methods

1. Light: It prefers partial shade and cannot tolerate strong light. When you first start hydroponics, you must make sure it is not exposed to strong light, otherwise it may affect root growth. During the subsequent maintenance process, try to place it in a softer place on the pipeline.

2. Change the water: When you first start cultivating, change the water about every 1-2 days. After 10 days, you can change it every 2-3 days. After 20 days, it will grow stronger and can be replaced every 10 days or so.
