Brazilian dragon bone breeding method

The Brazilian dragon bone is a succulent plant of the Cactaceae family and the genus Aglaonema. It is mostly propagated by cuttings. It likes light and high temperatures, and the temperature must be maintained above 5℃ in winter. It is not very demanding on the culture soil and can grow well in general culture soil.

The Brazilian dragon bone likes warm environment and is afraid of cold. In the winter in the north, it should be placed indoors in time for maintenance to avoid freezing of the plant. It loves light very much, so it should be placed in a place with sufficient sunlight. If there is not enough sunlight, it will grow weakly.

Watering method

The Brazilian dragon bone does not require much water, is relatively drought-resistant, and prefers a dry environment, so when watering, you need to wait until the soil is dry before watering. Do not water too much, just make sure the soil is slightly moist.

Fertilization method

During the growth period of Brazilian dragon bone, organic fertilizer should be used for fertilization. After the growth period, potassium fertilizer, nitrogen fertilizer and special cost fertilizer should be used. However, the fertilizer must be diluted. If the concentration is too high, the roots will fall off.

Pruning methods

The Brazilian dragon bone needs to be properly pruned during maintenance, mainly to cut off the excess buds and leaves on the plant, otherwise the plant will appear particularly messy and affect its appearance.

Precautions for breeding Brazilian keel

In the south, you can let the Brazilian dragon bone spend the winter outdoors, but you must also take warming measures. In the north, you need to move it indoors in winter to avoid frostbite.

The Brazilian dragon bone plant has good shaping properties and does not require pruning. If pruning is necessary, be careful not to cause severe damage to the plant directly, otherwise it will be difficult to heal. After each pruning, a small amount of nutrient solution can be sprayed.
