Clivia is a perennial plant. Generally, Clivia seeds will germinate about 20 days after sowing. The growth cycle of Clivia is very long, usually 4 to 5 years. It is more appropriate to plant Clivia seeds in April in spring. In southern regions, planting can be done one month in advance.

1. Seed selection and germination: Select seeds that have just been harvested that year, and then soak them in clean water for 30 hours to germinate.

2. Soil preparation: Prepare loose and fertile river sand and sawdust as the planting medium.

3. Sowing: Place the germinated seeds with the eyes facing down in the soil, then cover them with a layer of fine sand and then water the soil thoroughly.
