Mushroom growth environment and local conditions

Mushroom Growth Environment and Conditions

Mushrooms usually grow in moist and nutrient-rich places, such as under tree roots with humus or on the ground with leaves. They can also be seen on some older trees. They are mainly distributed in Zhejiang, Fujian, Taiwan, Anhui, Hunan and other regions. They are generally cultivated manually and are extremely convenient to grow.

Mushroom Growing Conditions

Mushrooms prefer a humid growing environment, so when caring for them, you must water them in time to keep the soil moist, and there must be sufficient nutrients and the temperature must be suitable.

Mushroom Growth Temperature

In the early stages of mushroom growth, the temperature needs to be kept at around 18-20 degrees. In the later stages of fruiting body growth, it will need to be adjusted to 12 to 16 degrees. High temperature environments must be avoided.

Mushroom growth process

The growth process of mushrooms is as follows: the spores germinate after colonization and then form mycelium. When the mycelium matures, it will turn to reproductive growth and then form fruiting bodies. When the fruiting bodies mature, they will eject spores, thus completing a life cycle. A suitable temperature environment is required during the growth process.

Mushroom Planting Time and Method

In fact, mushrooms can be planted all year round, but the most suitable time to plant them is in spring every year. The air humidity is high during this period, making it easy for the plants to survive. The soil used should be loose and fertile. During maintenance, watering should be done in time to keep the soil moist, which can shorten its growth and development cycle.
