How to divide succulent plants

When dividing them, it is usually done during their growing season. The temperature during this period is more suitable for their growth and can increase their chances of survival.

Meat division propagation method

The division of succulents can be done at the same time as repotting or during the growing season. It is necessary to cut off the small plants next to the plant, and they must have roots, and then transplant them into the soil prepared in advance. After that, they need to be maintained in a relatively cool environment for about 1-2 days until the wounds are dry.

Steps for dividing succulent plants

1. When dividing succulents, it is usually done during the growth period or when repotting. The survival rate of division reproduction is relatively high, and its vitality is also relatively strong.

2. When dividing the plants, you need to cut the small plants next to the succulent mother plant. If there are independent divisions, you can dig them out directly and then transplant them into the soil. They should be placed in a relatively cool environment for 1-2 days.

3. After the division is completed, water it appropriately, but not excessively, otherwise it will cause part of the soil to rot. During maintenance, sufficient sunlight is needed.

When dividing succulents, you need to be careful not to plant them too deep, otherwise it will affect their growth. Also, do not place them in a place with strong light immediately after division. They need to be maintained in a cool place for a period of time, and then planted in pots after the wound becomes dry.
