Palm trees are native to my country and prefer warm and humid climates. They mostly grow in valleys, stream banks, and under forests below 2,600 meters above sea level. The main producing areas are Guangdong, Guangxi, Yunnan, Guizhou and other provinces.

How to Plant Palm Trees in the North

1. Soil: Palms require moist, fertile and well-drained soil. The plants have a certain degree of drought and water resistance, but they grow better in slightly acidic soil.

2. Temperature: Palm prefers a warm and humid growing environment. The most suitable growth temperature is 22-30℃. The plant is not cold-resistant. If the temperature is lower than 15℃, the plant will enter a dormant state, affecting its growth.

3. Water: Palm trees like a humid environment, but the amount of watering should not be too much each time, otherwise it will cause root rot. Generally, watering once a week is sufficient. In winter, the plant grows slowly and can be watered once every 10 days or so.
