How to grow copper coin grass

1. Soil

The pennywort likes to grow in loose, fertile soil with high water absorption and good water retention. When cultivating it, you can prepare it yourself with leaf mold, river mud and garden soil.

2. Lighting

The pennywort is shade-tolerant. When growing it, it is best to place it in the shade or give it half-day sunlight. Never expose it to strong sunlight. It is enough to let it receive 4 to 6 hours of diffuse light every day.

3. Fertilization

If you want the pennywort to grow vigorously, you must apply fertilizer to it in time. During the growing season, you should apply top dressing every 2 to 3 weeks. If you plant it in a flowerpot, a small amount of fertilizer will be enough.

4. Watering

When the temperature is high in summer, you should often spray water on the leaves of the pennywort to maintain the air humidity in the surrounding environment, and also keep the leaves clean, which is conducive to its photosynthesis. In winter, watering should be determined according to the dryness and wetness of the soil. Do not allow water to accumulate, otherwise root rot will easily occur.
