How to prepare soil for Jade Dew

The jade plant has very high requirements for soil. When caring for it, you can use Akadama soil, perlite, peat soil, and planting stone in a ratio of 2:2:1:1. In addition, you can simply use river sand and nutrient soil for preparation.

Changing the soil for Jade Dew potted plants

1. Remove the plant: Take the jade plant out of the original pot, shake off the old soil at the roots, cut off the excess roots and disinfect them.

2. Prepare new soil: Jade dew has high requirements for soil. You can use nutrient soil, leaf mold, and river sand as the substrate. You can also add some crushed egg shells as fertilizer.

3. Re-pot: Spread a layer of expanded clay at the bottom of the pot, fill two-thirds of the pot with prepared soil, place the plant in the middle, and then water it to promote rooting.
