How to cultivate rose in potted plants

1. Lighting

Roses are very afraid of being exposed to the sun. During maintenance, they only need to be given sufficient scattered light, and in summer, the plants should be properly shaded.

2. Potting soil

The flowerpots used for roses must have good air permeability. The plants like loose, fertile, slightly acidic soil. The soil can be prepared with humus, garden soil, and coarse sand.

3. Fertilization

Roses bloom a lot and require a relatively large amount of fertilizer. You just need to follow the principle of applying small amounts of fertilizer frequently. During the peak growth period, top dressing is needed 2-3 times to meet the growth needs of the plant.

4. Moisture

Although roses like water, they are also afraid of waterlogging. Just follow the principle of "don't water unless the soil is dry, and water thoroughly when the soil is dry". Generally, water them once every 3-5 days.

5. Pruning

The most suitable growth temperature for roses is 15-25℃. Too low or too high is not conducive to the growth of the plant. When the temperature exceeds 30℃ or is lower than 5℃, you must reduce watering and fertilizing.
