Methods and key points of hydroponic cultivation of Amaryllis

1. Prepare a transparent glass vase as a cultivation container.

2. When hydroponically cultivating, make sure the position of the amaryllis plant in the water is six centimeters from the bud. In autumn, rotten branches need to be trimmed and the roots also need to be disinfected. Finally, place the plant in a bottle filled with clean water and stones.

3. When winter comes, it is recommended to soak the roots in some potassium permanganate, which can remove impurities and disinfect.

Precautions for growing Amaryllis in water

1. Remember to ventilate frequently and change water frequently. At the beginning of planting, change the water 3 times in half a month, and then change it every 4 days.

2. During the flowering period, place the amaryllis in a place without sunlight and keep the temperature at around 20 degrees. In summer, you can turn on the air conditioner to cool it down. When the amaryllis grows to three centimeters, raise the temperature to 25 degrees to promote flowering.

3. After flowering, adjust the temperature to 10 degrees again to keep the flowering period of Amaryllis longer and the flowers more beautiful.
