Can Desert Rose be grown hydroponically?

2. The water of hydroponic Desert Rose needs to be changed once a week in summer, and the frequency of water change can be appropriately extended in other seasons.

3. The temperature is too low in winter and the leaves of Desert Rose may fall off. You can put it in a place with sufficient light and wait for new leaves to grow in spring, then use nutrient solution to continue cultivating it.

Precautions for growing Desert Rose in water

1. Water: Before taking root, the branches of Desert Rose need to be changed with water every three days, and the dry and rotten areas should be removed in time. Then, they should be disinfected with a diluted permanganate solution and reinserted into the water. After the roots grow, the water can be changed once a week.

2. Light: Desert roses grown in water need to avoid direct sunlight. If they are always under strong light, the branches are likely to wither and the survival rate will be reduced. The branches grown in clean water need to be placed in a bright and ventilated environment.
