How often should Milan be watered?

Milan likes moisture, but not too much. During its growing period, it needs sufficient water to maintain its growth, but the frequency of watering is related to seasonal changes, so there is no fixed frequency.

Usually water the plant every 2-3 days on sunny days. When watering, first check the dryness of the soil in the pot. If the soil is already dry, then water it thoroughly, otherwise it will lack water.

The correct way to water Milan

1. Try to use natural water, river water, rainwater, etc. for watering. If you use tap water, you need to leave the tap water for 1 to 2 days before using it. Pay attention to the soil temperature and water temperature when watering, and try to keep them close. This will not easily damage the plants. Milan grown outdoors needs to be watered every day in summer.

2. In summer, watering should be done in the morning and evening. The temperature at this time is beneficial to the plants. Otherwise, the plants will be easily damaged. In winter, watering should be done after 10 noon and before 3 pm. Milan needs to maintain a high humidity environment. You can often use a sprayer to spray the leaves.

3. Spring is the time for germination. If watering is improper, it is easy to cause the branches and leaves to grow too long. The watering method at this time is to wait until the tender buds are slightly shriveled and drooping before watering.

Overwatering of Milan

When growing Milan indoors, it is best to use dry soil in the pot. Never water it too much at one time. If you water it too much and the soil in the pot is too wet, it will cause leaf shedding and root rot.

If you water Milan too much, you need to stop watering immediately, drain the excess water as soon as possible, and loosen the soil appropriately. If the accumulated water has caused the roots to rot, you need to remove the plant from the pot, trim the rotten roots with sterilized scissors, and then replant it in a dry environment.
