For potted plants, you usually need to check the dryness and wetness of the soil before watering. Usually in summer, when the temperature is high, you need to water it every day, and once in the morning and evening.

The correct way to water mint

1. When watering mint, usually use rainwater or river water. If you only have tap water, generally leave it for a few days or expose it to the sun before use. This will allow the chlorine in the water to evaporate and reduce harm to the plant.

2. You can use rice water for watering. Because it is slightly acidic, it is very helpful for the development of plants. Pay attention to the water temperature when watering, and do not use cold water.

3. In winter, the temperature is relatively low, and mint has poor water absorption, and the evaporation rate is reduced. At this time, it does not need too much attention to the amount of watering. If the flowerpot is still very moist, it does not need to be watered. Wait until the spring of the second year when new buds emerge before watering.
