1. What is hemp?

Hemp is a herbaceous plant. It does not refer to the name of a certain plant, but is a general term for a class of plants. Hemp includes flax, jute, hemp, sisal, abaca, ramie, ramie, hemp, and kenaf.

2. Introduction of flax

Flax is an annual herb which can be divided into three types: fiber flax, oil flax and both oil and fiber flax. It has an erect, waxy stem that can grow up to 1.2 meters tall. The leaves are alternate and have white frost on the surface. The flowers are white or blue when blooming, and the fruits are capsules with flat oval seeds. The flowering period is from June to August, and the fruiting period is from July to October. It likes warm and humid climate environment, is cold-resistant and afraid of high temperatures. The best soil for cultivation is loose, fertile, deep, well-drained, slightly acidic soil.

Jute is also called fire hemp, green hemp, hemp, water hemp, wild hemp, round fruit jute, round capsule jute, bitter hemp leaf, etc. It is a long, soft and shiny plant fiber. It prefers a warm and humid climate and is a short-day crop. Jute is between 1 and 4 meters tall, with leaves that are ovate-lanceolate to narrow-lanceolate and papery. It blooms between July and August every year. The flowers are small and yellow in color. The fruiting period is between September and October.

4. Introduction to Cannabis

Cannabis is an annual upright herb, between 1 and 3 meters tall. The leaves are palmately divided, the lobes are linear-lanceolate or lanceolate, and the surface is dark green. The flowering period is between May and June, and the flowers are yellow-green in color. The fruiting period is July. The achenes are covered by persistent yellow-brown bracts and the skin is hard and brittle. Cannabis is a light-loving plant and a short-day plant. It prefers a warm environment and is slightly cold-resistant.
