Yamato Kin breeding methods and precautions

Yamato Kin breeding methods and precautions

1. Soil

Its roots are not tolerant to waterlogging, so when choosing soil, consider choosing soil with good drainage. In the early stages of maintenance, it still has certain requirements for nutrients, so when planting it, it is best to add some base fertilizer to the soil.

2. Lighting

It is a sun-loving plant, so it needs to get enough light during maintenance. Generally speaking, the daily light exposure should not be less than six hours, and it is best to have diffuse light and avoid strong sunlight.

3. Temperature

It has relatively high temperature requirements for the growth environment, and the breeding temperature needs to be maintained at around 18°C. The temperature is relatively low in winter, so it needs to be moved indoors for maintenance. There are more chilly days in spring and the temperature changes are quite different, so you need to wait until the climate stabilizes before moving the plants outdoors for maintenance.

4. Watering

Its roots are relatively sensitive. If there is too much water in the soil, root rot is likely to occur. Therefore, you must control the amount of water when watering, and water until the soil is thoroughly moist but not lumpy. Watering once a week is sufficient.

5. Notes

When watering in winter, the water temperature needs to be kept similar to the maintenance temperature. If the temperature is too low, the plant will be easily damaged, which is very detrimental to its growth.
