Planting time of mustard

The planting time of cabbage is during the summer every year, generally between July and August, and the planting time in the southern region is relatively early, but it cannot be planted too early or too late, otherwise it will affect its quality.

Methods and key points of growing mustard

1. The seeds of cabbage mustard need to be germinated before sowing. Because its seeds are in a dormant state, the seeds need to be dried in the sun, and then placed in a low temperature environment of three to four degrees to germinate. Generally, they can be sown in about two to three days.

2. Cabbage mustard is usually planted by broadcasting. It should be noted that the seeds should be evenly spread. After the seeds are sown, they should be covered with soil and then watered thoroughly to prevent them from being carried away by wind or rain. At the same time, it is also beneficial for the seeds to absorb water and promote the germination speed. When the temperature is relatively high, you can also cover the four sides with straw to keep them moist.

Things to note when planting mustard greens

The growing temperature of cabbage is between 15 and 25 degrees. Be careful not to exceed 30 degrees, otherwise it will affect its quality, and in severe cases it will be sun-dried to death.

Cabbage likes moisture. If there is no rainfall after planting, it needs to be watered twice a day to ensure its germination rate.
