Rose transplanting time and method, the best time and precautions for transplanting

Rose is a very common and common plant. Rose usually grows in a warm and humid environment. When cultivating roses, for its health, it is necessary to change the pot and soil frequently and transplant it.

Rose transplanting time

Most rose transplants are done in winter and spring, from November each year to around March of the following year. At this time, the temperature, humidity and other conditions are more suitable for rose transplants. Transplanting roses during this period will cause less damage to it, and it is easy to make it resume growth quickly, and it can also increase its survival rate.

Transplanting technology of Chinese rose

Three days before transplanting, the rose should be watered thoroughly. This is to facilitate digging and retaining the soil. The seedlings should be removed in the morning and transplanted with soil as much as possible, and then planted as soon as possible. The planting depth should be similar to the original depth. Too shallow planting will expose the roots when the soil is dry and cracked, causing root water loss, while too deep planting will affect the root breathing.

Management of rose after transplantation

1. Pruning

Before transplanting roses, you need to check the growth of their roots. If rotten or dead roots are found, they need to be cut off in time. Also, all dead branches, rotten leaves, diseased branches and leaves, old branches and leaves should be cut off to prevent these rotten leaves from competing with normal branches and leaves for nutrients.

2. Soil

When growing, roses need to use loose, fertile soil with good air permeability and drainage, mainly sandy soil. You can add some perlite, humus and organic soil as the matrix. When transplanting, the soil and flower pots must be disinfected first and can only be used after disinfection.

3. Moisture

After transplanting, roses need to be watered. At this time, they need to be watered thoroughly at one time, but the amount of water must be controlled, not too much or too little. Too much water can easily cause water accumulation problems, while too little water can cause the roots of the roses to dry out and affect the survival rate.
